Jamie had 2 pairs of grip socks and still got through a box of plasters in a month. These are the first real solution that actually stop the blisters from forming.

Description
Big toe joint raw by the third period? Taping the front of your foot before every ice time? A skate is stiff and laced tight, and every push-off drives friction through the forefoot, the part of your foot doing the most work inside the boot, and the part your socks do the least for:
- One piece wraps the big toe and the ball of your foot
- Your skate rubs the sleeve, not your skin
- Podiatrist-designed
- Thin enough that your skates still fit
- Breathable, so it isn't one more sealed layer
- Goes on in seconds, no taping before every ice time
- Fits either foot: turn it inside out to switch sides
- Reusable: wash it and wear it again
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
It does not cover the heel, the ankle or the top of the foot.

Reviews from parents
Same sleeve, same part of the foot.
"He's 15 and refuses anything I suggest, so the fact he asks me to wash these before every match says it all."
"Bought these the week before his cup final because he could barely walk after Saturdays. He played the whole match and came off talking about the game, not his feet."
"Bought one pair to try and ordered two more within a week. He wears them for training, matches, even five-a-side with his mates."
"Charlie's 15 and I'd stopped noticing the limp because it had just become normal. Three weeks in, it's gone. Finally I don't have to stare at him limping to the car after every match."
"He got a header on Sunday and I actually got to enjoy it. No wincing at the restaurant afterwards. I got quite emotional when he thanked me."
"He was asking to come off by 70 minutes every match. Now he plays the full ninety and never mentions his feet."
"I was spending a small fortune on blister plasters that fell off halfway through training anyway. These actually stay put, and he says he forgets he's wearing them."
"Honestly didn't expect much. His new boots had given him blisters on both feet by week two of preseason. He's worn these every session since and not one complaint."

Olyra Blister Sleeve
Built for what a stiff skate does to the front of your foot:
Takes the friction
The inner layer stays with your skin while the outer layer slides against your sock. Your skate rubs the sleeve instead of your skin.
Breathable, not sealed
Damp skin blisters more easily than dry skin, and a skate boot is a closed box for three periods. The sleeve is breathable fabric, not a sealed layer.
Stays put through every shift
A close, even fit that holds through three periods of stops and starts. No slipping, no bunching, nothing to fix on the bench.
Blisters start where friction happens.
In a skate the load doesn't spread evenly across your foot. The boot is stiff and laced tight, and every stride pushes off the front of it. That's the part this sleeve is built to protect, and the only part.
-
BIG TOE JOINT
Every push-off goes through the inside edge of your foot. The big toe joint takes it on every stride.
-
BALL OF FOOT
Your body weight sits on the ball of your foot in a hockey stance. Pressure, not just rubbing.
-
HEEL, ANKLE, TOP OF THE FOOT
Not covered. If that's where your skate rubs, this isn't your fix.
The Olyra Blister Sleeve wraps the first two in one piece, so the skate rubs the sleeve, not your skin.
- Your skin
- The Olyra Blister Sleeve
- Your skate sock
- Your skate
At the front of the foot, the sleeve stays with your skin while your sock and your skate slide across its outer surface, so the rubbing happens at the dotted line, not on your skin.
The science of a blister
A blister is a friction injury. It forms when the same patch of skin is rubbed again and again under load, until the layers of skin shear apart and fluid fills the gap.
Three things speed that up inside a skate: a tight fit, heat and sweat. Damp skin blisters more easily than dry skin.
This sleeve deals with one place it happens: the front of the foot, at the big toe joint and the ball of the foot, where every push-off loads the skin. It does nothing for the heel, the ankle or the top of the foot.
The sleeve changes what rubs. Its inner surface stays with your skin. Its outer surface lets your sock and your skate slide across it. The rubbing still happens. It lands on the sleeve.

Developed & Validated by Foot Care Specialists
The Olyra Blister Sleeve combines a one-piece forefoot design with clinical input on how blisters actually form.
To make sure it holds up outside a clinic, we work with Dr. Anya Sharma, a practising podiatrist, and with other physicians.
- Built on the science of shear and pressure
- Refined over successive wear-test rounds
- Made for the front of the foot only
How to wear it
1. Slip it on
Slide the sleeve onto your bare foot. Your big toe goes through its own opening. Either foot: turn it inside out to switch sides.
2. Sock on
Pull your skate sock on over it. Nothing to wrap, cut or stick.
3. Slip into your skates
Lace up the way you always do. It's working from the first shift.
FAQ
Is it normal to get blisters this often? Am I doing something wrong?
You're not. Skates are built stiff and laced tight on purpose, to lock your foot in, and that same tight fit is what drives friction into the front of the foot. It happens to rec league players and serious ones alike. New skates and a jump in ice time all at once is a lot to ask of your feet.
Won't my feet just toughen up eventually?
Some skin does adapt over time. But blisters are caused by shear, layers of skin sliding against each other under load, and that force doesn't go away because you've been playing longer. Once a spot is sore, most players change how they push off to avoid it.
How do I know which size to order?
Go by your usual shoe size using the chart in the Size Guide above: S, M or L, with women's and men's sizes listed. For XL, or between two sizes, message us and we'll help you pick.
Will it fit inside my skates?
Yes. It's thin, with no bulk, and it sits under your skate sock without eating the space in the boot. That's the main reason it's one piece across the forefoot and not separate toe caps: stacking caps on several toes crowds an already tight skate.
How does the Olyra Blister Sleeve actually work?
It sits between your forefoot and your skate. The inner surface stays put against your skin; the outer surface slides against your sock. So the rubbing still happens. It happens to the sleeve.
I already wear thicker socks. Isn't that the same thing?
Different problem. A thicker sock pads the whole foot and makes a tight skate tighter. It doesn't put one thin layer on the spot that rubs. That's a pressure and shear problem, and it's the one this is built for.
Won't it make my feet sweat more?
It's the right question to ask, because damp skin blisters more readily than dry skin. The sleeve is soft, breathable nylon-spandex, not a sealed layer.
Will it help with heel or ankle blisters, or lace bite?
No. It covers the big toe joint and the ball of the foot, and nothing else. It does not cover the heel, the ankle or the top of the foot.
How long does a pair last?
It's reusable: machine wash cold (30°C) and wear it again. Plenty of players keep a second pair in the bag so there's always a clean one for back-to-back games.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are delivered in 6–10 days, and shipping is free. If you're buying for a tournament or the start of a season, order ahead so you can wear it at practice first.
What's your returns policy?
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, no questions asked.
